Bound in handsome contemporary tree calf, double gilt rules to covers, monogram "N.F.H.F. 1923" to upper cover, five raised bands to spines, six compartments decorated gilt, one of which bears the red morocco title label. Gilt turn-ins, marbled endpapers. All edges gilt. A near fine copy. Attractive bookplate of Norman F. H. Freudenthal to front pastedown.
An excellent collection including almost all of the poems published between Departmental Ditties (1886) and The Years Between (1919). It includes much-loved classics such as 'If-', 'Mandalay' and 'Gunga Din'.
