First edition. Small 8vo. Paper covered boards with a pictorial onlay to the upper cover. Endpapers with illustrations in colour. Pictorial title page and 29 colour plates by Pearse. Each page of text also has pictorial borders printed in black and white. A very good copy of an uncommon item, some dustiness and slight abrasions to the upper cover and browning to the endpapers.
This is the first story about Ameliaranne and is very scarce indeed. The series is unusual in having different authors, but retaining the same illustrator throughout.
