First edition with illustrations by Dulac. 4to. Olive green cloth with gilt lettering and decoration. Upper cover has an embossed illustration of an Art Nouveau style Snow Queen. Endpapers decorated with olive peacock design. Housed in original publisher's card box. Twenty eight mounted colour plates protected by captioned pages with designs in olive green. Each page is decorated with pictorial borders. A fine book, slightest discolouration to the spine's upper joint, in a very good box. The box has some edge wear, but has kept the book in exceptional condition.
Stories include: The Snow Queen, The Nightingale, The Real Princess, The Garden of Paradise, The Mermaid, The Emperor's New Clothes and The Wind's Tale.
