Pictorial endpapers and twenty five colour plates, mounted under captioned tissue guards, one of which is torn but complete, and each of which has a line drawing of a different fish. A very good copy indeed of this classic fishing tale. Some light browning to endpapers and page edges.
Walton's discursive style makes this book much more than a standard fishing manual. It's popularity making it the second most reprinted book in the English language, after the King James Bible.
