A very good copy indeed, some spotting to page edges and previous owner's name to front endpaper.
One of 1,500 copies, originally published at 20/-. A travel guide which takes in the topography, architecture and history of Russia. The first 12 chapters concentrate on St.Petersburg, including 1st impressions, ideology, history, society and its environs. The author then provides chapters on Moscow, before covering The Urals, The Volga, The Crimea and other areas.
