First edition. 4to. Grey green cloth, lettered in gilt, with gilt vignette of Peary on the upper cover and polar bears in white on the spine and rear board. Bordered in white on the spine and upper cover. One hundred and sixteen black and white photographic illustrations, including 4 photogravures. Colour fold out map to the rear. A very good copy indeed, tear to the initial tissue guard and some offsetting to endpapers. Boards and contents clean and crisp.
