Original chromolithograph by Spy depicting R.C. Lehmann. Very good condition. Mounted, framed and glazed.

A Vanity Fair rowing print. Lehmann rowed at Henley Royal Regatta where he finished last in every heat he entered, from the 1877 Visitors' to the 1888 Wyfolds. He was first boat captain of first Trinity and in 1894 was Captain of Leander. He went on to become a rowing coach, an author and a Liberal politician. Father of the author Rosamond Lehmann.
