First edition. 'Perfect' bound in original pictorial card wrappers designed by Charlie O'Neill. A virtually fine copy that has an inoffensive scratch to the covers, but is crisp, uncreased and tight. An exceptional copy.
Doyle's first book. In the absence of any takers, Doyle co-founded King Farouk Publishing with John Sutton for the principal purpose of publishing this book. 3000 copies were printed of which only about 800 were sold. Due to the binding the book was apt to fall apart as it was read, so it is infrequently encountered in a good state.
