Uncorrected proof copy. Publisher's paper wrappers in oversized proof dustwrapper by Richard Chopping. A near fine copy in a very good dustwrapper, which is foxed and a little creased, with a light stain to the lower panel of the dustwrapper, which has affected the lower wrapper of the book.
The last of Ian Fleming's James Bond books. Notably uncommon in proof form, with only 350 copies printed, the proof also has a number of textual differences, as well as differences in layout and design of the dustwrapper and preliminary pages.
