Second edition. Original pictorial blue pictorial boards with colour pictorial onlay to upper cover. Illustrated throughout in line by Mary Tourtel. A very good copy, with a little wear to the boards and a gift inscription to the front free endpaper.
The story of Rupert and the Old Miser first appeared in Rupert Little Bear's Adventures No. 1 in February 1924, before being first separately published in February 1925 as part of the Rupert Little Bear series, the edition preceding this one.
