First edition, first state of title page, secondary binding with printed titles to the spine rather than gilt. Original red pictorial cloth. Inscribed by the author to his biographer, David Jasen, "To David from Plum P.G.Wodehouse May 26 - 1965". Twelve black and white plates. A very good copy with a little fraying to the head of the spine and a short split at the head of the front joint. Front hinge tender.
The author's third published work. Inscribed copies are scarce.
