Three volumes, all first editions. All in original blue cloth and pictorial dustwrappers. A very good set, all books in near fine condition, the dustwrappers are mainly bright, a hint of fading to the red of the first and last volumes. Men At Arms has a couple of short closed tears to the upper panel, and Officers And Gentleman has some spotting to the lower panel.
The author's ironic portrayal of British Army life, based to a large part on Waugh's own army career and critically considered to be the best novel of the second world war.
