First edition. Small 8vo. Original fine grained brown cloth, lettered in gilt on the spine, decoration stamped in blind on the upper and rear covers. Publisher's adverts, dated October 1849, to the front. A very good copy indeed, a little rubbing to the spine ends and with some foxing internally, but generally a tight, bright copy. Bookplate to the front pastedown.
