Osgood, McIlvaine & Co,. 1896.

First edition, first state with partially blank pages numbered on signatures A-H. Original green cloth with gilt vignettes and titles. Top edge gilt. Etched frontis and map of Wessex at the rear. A very good copy indeed. A very clean, bright copy of the author's last novel.
