Fourth edition. 8vo. Original green cloth lettered in gilt on the spine, with black stamped rules and floral decoration to the upper cover, with matching design stamped in blind on the rear cover. Nineteen hand coloured "humorous... engravings, from original designs by the most eminent artists." (William Heath and Henry Alken). A near fine copy, spine a little darkened and with a hint of tenderness to the rear joint, but generally clean and fresh.
Considered to be more rare than Egan's earlier work, Life in London.
