Pictorial endpapers. A fabulously illustrated book with ninety two colour illustrations, many of which are full page, all packed full of colour and action. Each page is printed on coated stock which gives the book a luxurious feel. A fine copy. An uncommonly nice copy, with a contemporary owner's inscription on the front endpaper.
Rountree's illustrations are a riot of colour, suiting this wacky tale to perfection.
