First edition. Original green cloth with gilt titles to the spine and upper cover in pictorial Clifford Webb dustwrapper. Illustrated throughout with woodcuts by Clifford Webb. A very good copy indeed with a little fading to the spine in a very good dustwrapper, which shows some fraying to the spine ends and corners, with a couple of small chips to the base of the spine and back panel, a small pen scribble to the upper cover and some fading to the red design of the spine.
The second book in the Swallows & Amazons series. Experience has shown this book to be the scarcest of all the books in the series and its dustwrapper particularly prone to defects of condition.
