Original buff pictorial cloth blocked in green, orange and black. Four black and white plates by H.M.Brock. A very good copy, slightly darkened with a trace of wear to spine ends and edges. A little periodic spotting to pages but generally fresh.
Wodehouse's first adult novel, which sees the first appearance of Stanley Featherstoneheaugh Ukridge. It ranks among the very scarcest of Wodehouse's first editions, in our experience toe to toe with "The Man With Two Left Feet" and exceeded only by "The Globe By The Way Book".
