HUNTING PRINTS IN STUNNING CONDITION
Volumes I and II
Eyre & Spottiswoode, 1928.
First edition. Two volumes. 4to. Cloth covered boards with paste on printed labels. Written and illustrated by Edwards. 27 colour plates and 9 pages of pencil sketches. Each page has a description of a hunt, its scenery or the hounds together with accompanying illustration. A stunning set. Fine books (sporadic foxing), still in original fine dustwrapper and publisher's boxes, which are also in nice clean condition with printed labels.
In his introduction Edwards describes these volumes as "Shires and Provinces-unexpurgated edition" since they contain sketches made on the spot during the production of his previous book, entitled Shires and Provinces.
