First edition, American issue. 4to. White cloth with gilt decoration and lettering in art nouveau style. Pictorial endpapers and top edge gilt. Twenty-four colour plates mounted under captioned tissue guards. Many art nouveau style black and white drawings. A very good copy, cloth slightly dusty and small puncture to the lower spine.
Florence Harrison's Pre-Raphaelite style illustrations go very well with Tennyson's poetry. The colours are rich and plates very lovely.
Poems include: Guinevere, Sir Galahad, The Lady of Shalott, Morte D'Arthur, A Dream of Fair Women and others.
