Three Men in a Boat

(To Say Nothing of the Dog)

JEROME, Jerome K.

JEROME, Jerome K. Three Men in a Boat (To Say Nothing of the Dog)

Arrowsmith, 1889.

First edition, first state, with "Quay Street" on title page and "J.W. Arrowsmith, Bristol" on front paste down. Original blue cloth with gilt lettering on spine and black lettering and design on upper cover. Illustrations by A. Fredericks. A fine copy, exceptionally bright and crisp and very seldom encountered thus.

A bibliographically much misunderstood book. The first state, requiring the publisher's name and not an address to head the adverts on the front pastedown, is rare.
