Uncorrected proof. Original pictorial wrappers with the design of the eventual dustwrapper. One gathering, stapled at spine. The upper cover bears the printed information "CORRECTED PROOF. NOT FOR SALE." and lists the published price and the publication dates for this (8th April 1965). Illustrated throughout by John Burningham. A very good copy indeed with a small mark to the top of the front cover, and a light dustiness.
Proof copies of the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang stories are rare.
