First edition. 8vo. Original green pictorial cloth with gilt titles on the spine. Twenty seven black and white illustrations. A very good copy, with a short split to the rear joint, and light wear to extremities, occasional spots of foxing.

Tom Morris was one of the all time golfing legends, winning the Open Championship four times at Prestwick, where all the early championships were played. He was influential in golf course design and had an influence in many of the top golf courses in Scotland and further afield.
