Adventures in Investing
Hogarth Press, 1936.
First edition. 8vo. Original orange cloth, lettered in gilt in pictorial dustwrapper after a design by Richard Kennedy. A near fine copy in a very good dustwrapper, which has a chip to the head of the spine and wear to the corners with a number of short closed tears.
The author, who worked under the pseudonym of "Securitas", was editor of finance and investment columns of Time and Tide. This book is a guide to the fundamentals of investment, "more particularly for the small investor whose ignorance in such matters led to his taking the lion's share of the losses in the great slump." (blurb)
An uncommon Hogarth Press publication.
