First edition. 8vo. Written and illustrated by Jessie M King. White paper covered boards with the bright coloured design, in red, yellow, green and blue. Offered with a facsimile of the glassine wrapper and publisher's wrap-around band. 16 tipped in illustrations, a mixture of colour plates and photographs. In this version Cinderella makes her own ball dress from batik. A fine copy with minuscule rubs to corners, but bright and clean.
Exhibited in the Glasgow Girls Exhibition, August 1990- January 1991, Glasgow Museum, item 108. Loaned by Glasgow dealer/ collector Barclay Lennie. Exhibition slip loosely inserted.
