Colour frontispiece and twenty-one full-page black and white illustrations, all reproductions of Nevinson's paintings. A fresh, near fine copy.
Nevinson's work provided some of the most iconic images of WWI. His depiction of machine gunners in "La Mitrailleuse" being described by Walter Sickert as 'the most authoritative and concentrated utterance on the war in the history of painting'.
