Pictorial endpapers. Twenty-three wonderful mounted colour plates in a gilt border and protected by captioned tissue guards. A fine copy, the covers exceptionally clean and bright, some light browning to the endpapers, otherwise fresh throughout, in a very good box, a couple of corners split, but sound. A small ownership sticker to the front free endpaper verso. A beautiful example of Detmold's enduring work.
