Two works, both first editions. Four volumes. The Writings number 276 of 1,500 copies; The Life number 506 of 1,480 copies. All bound in the original quarter vellum over marbled boards, gilt lettering to spine. Untrimmed edges and some pages unopened. Fifty-eight black and white plates throughout the first three volumes. Portrait frontispiece and twenty-three further plates in the additional volume. Black and white line drawings throughout all four volumes. A good set, spines rather toned, with some wear to the spine ends and corners.
The four-volume set includes the three volume The Writings Of William Blake, and The Life Of William Blake.
