First edition. 8vo. Green cloth with gilt lettering and vignettes. Sixteen colour plates and 21 black and white drawings. A near fine copy, upper cover bright, but a little bowed, spine a little toned. Browning to endpapers but otherwise very clean internally.

The Bookman of Christmas 1920, describes these tales as "for the child whose parents worship Ireland, for those with adoration for her legends."
