First edition, variant issue with black lettering on upper cover. 8vo. Light brown pictorial cloth with design based on the Prussian eagle blocked in black, brown and white on the upper cover, with black lettering. Lettering in gilt on the spine, with a design based on the iron cross printed in black, brown and white. Seventy five full page colour illustrations under captioned tissue guards. Fold out map at the rear. A very good copy indeed, light rubbing to the enamel decoration.
