Elizabeth Taylor's copy of Ulysses. Seventh printing. Bound in black tortoiseshell paper-covered boards, morocco label to spine, lettered gilt, without wrappers. Inscribed on the front endpaper, for Elizabeth Taylor by her husband, "Lisbeth, Love from John. Xmas 1945." A good copy, joints cracked and worn, but holding.
The novelist Elizabeth Taylor's copy of Ulysses, given to her by her husband as a Christmas present in 1945, following his wartime service in the RAF.
