First edition. Original green cloth with gilt titles in pictorial dustwrapper designed by Victor Ross. With a postcard from the National Portrait Gallery, signed and inscribed by Murdoch. A very good copy in a good dustwrapper, a little worn with some loss to the spine ends, a couple closed tears and some toning to the spine.
The author's scarce first novel.
