First edition. 8vo. Second issue with Griffith Taylor's preface present. In the publisher's green cloth, lettered gilt to spine and in cream to upper cover. An exceptionally nice copy of the book Rosove ranks as "the scarcest of the expedition's narratives". It is especially difficult to find in nice condition
Griffith Taylor was a London-born Austalian geologist who was considered By the rest of his crew the wittiest member of the Terra Nova expedition. In The Worst Journey In The World, Cherry Garrard wrote of Taylor that "his tongue wagged, and the arguments he led were legion. The hut was a merrier place for his presence".
