First edition. 8vo. White cloth, lettered in gilt, with blind stamped ruled design on the spine and upper cover, and with gilt heraldic device on the front. Top edge gilt. Twenty colour plates under captioned tissue guards. Fold out sketch map at the rear. A very good copy indeed, endpapers browned and sporadic light foxing throughout.
