Singing Angel

An original pen and ink sketch by Arthur Rackham, inscribed by the artist in pencil below the drawing, "Singing Angel, for When Christmas Was A. Rackham." Image size 15 x 13cm. In very good clean condition, a little dustiness to paper and a smudge to lower margin.
This drawing first appeared in the Women's Home Companion Vol. 58, no. 12 (Dec 1931) in the article "To Bethlehem: A Christmas Masque" by Laura Spencer Porter, illustrated by Arthur Rackham. The article appeared on pages 21-22 and 103-104. This illustration by Rackham appears on page 21.
