Hand-coloured throughout, with a couple of full colour illustrations painted on art paper that are pasted on top of black and white illustrations. Instructions to the printer in pencil to the margins throughout. These coloured proof sheets, including where original illustrations have been mounted separately, correspond with the 1922 edition. Some wear and occasional chips to page edges, very good.
A super collection of fairy tales including: Little Red Riding Hood, Blue Beard, The Sleeping Beauty, Puss-in-Boots, Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Beauty and the Beast and many others.
