The upper cover has elaborate decoration in gilt, with inlays in purple, red, green and blue. Signed by Duca Uberto Visconti di Modrone on the title page. Colour plates reproduce the illuminations by Giovanni de Grassi and Belbello da Pavia which were completed for Galeazzo and Filippo Maria Visconti. Perfect condition in the original box.
