First edition, first state with the terminal N missing from the London on the title page. 12mo. Grey paper covered boards and pictorial onlay. Pictorial endpapers and lots of colour illustrations by the author. A fine copy with just the slightest hint of wear to one corner.
The error in the publisher's address was corrected mid way through the print run and copies of the first issue are scarce.
