First edition. Original red and black cloth lettered in silver, in pictorial dustwrapper. A fine copy in a near fine dustwrapper which has a closed tear to the base of the rear fold, but is generally clean and crisp with only a hint of wear to the corners, and a couple of small stains to the spine. A well preserved example.
The American edition precedes the British edition by about a month.
