First edition, deluxe issue. 4to. Number 307 of 500 copies bound in full navy blue morocco. Raised bands to the spine with gilt lettering and decorations in the sections, gilt rules and dancing lady vignette on the upper cover. Gilt dentelles. All edges gilt. Blue page marker present. Housed in the original publisher's slipcase, with a blue leather title label stamped in gilt on the upper cover. Marbled endpapers. One hundred and six colour reproductions, each with a page of descriptive text, giving the background to the models, the locations and Flint's motivation. In addition there are over 100 pages of introduction, information about Flint's life and work, accompanied by photographs and other reproductions of the artist's work. A fine copy, in a fine slipcase, both are clean and bright.
