First edition. Three volumes, original publisher's green cloth titled in gilt to the spine with the publisher's colophon in blind to the covers. A near fine set with just minor wear to the spine ends and corners and some light markings to covers. Internally fresh with some foxing to the page edges; hinges sound with occasional short splits.
The only novel by the little known author, set principally on the Isle of Man. Very scarce, only four world wide institutional holdings and only one copy to be offered at auction in the last 40 years, which was part of the Gerald E Slater collection, notable for the quality of its books.
