Smith bindery to a design by Douglas Cockerell, with blind stamped monogram to the rear turn in. Illustrated by F.W. Frohawk, with 318 monochrome plates and 24 colour chromolithographs of birds eggs. A fine, handsome set. Text clean and crisp, some offsetting to early pages opposite the plates of eggs.
