Second edition. 4to. Blue cloth spine with gilt lettering and patterned paper covered boards with paste on printed label to upper cover. Pictorial fairy endpapers, 16 full page illustrations, 8 in black and white and 8 in colour. All plates fine, but a good only copy. At first glance the book looks like a decent copy, but on the rear cover a young owner has written his name in biro and also provided crayon additions to various pages of text. Title page vignette is coloured in, although all other plates are fine. Rear endpaper scribbled on.
