Gormenghast
Eyre & Spottiswoode, 1950.
First edition. Original red cloth with gilt lettering, in pictorial dustwrapper after a drawing by the author. A near fine copy, with light foxing to the endpapers and a very faint mark to the upper board, in a near fine dustwrapper, with a small hole on the fold of the front fold, but is unusually crisp and clean with only the most trivial wear to the head of the spine.
The second volume in Peake's 'Gormenghast' trilogy.
