An early gift illustrated by Mabel Lucie Attwell. 4to. Blue cloth with black decoration and gilt titles, in the original pictorial dustwrapper. Pictorial endpapers. Twelve colour plates and lots of delightful line drawings. A very good copy indeed, previous owner's name in "this belongs to" box and a short tear to the lower edge of the frontispiece (illustration not affected). In a very good dustwrapper with remnants of tape strengthening internally.
Attwell's depiction Peter Pan is one of the most loved and memorable making a perfect bedtime story to be read aloud.
