Bookplate specially designed with original artwork for Colin and Drusilla White and initialled in the right hand corner. 6.5cm x 9.8cm. A fine, unused example.
Colin was a friend and admirer of Ardizzone's work and the book plate is pictured with Colin at his desk and his wife Drusilla arranging books on their library shelves. Colin White is the well known bibliographer to Edmund Dulac and J M King.The book plate is a fine unused example which comes directly from White.
