Frontispiece in line and twenty-seven further full page line illustrations. A near fine copy, with minor external rubbing. Previous ownership inscription to the verso of the front free endpaper.
This is the first edition of Bryce's miniature complete bible.
David Bryce of Glasgow (1845-1923) used photolithography to become one of the world's most prolific and successful makers of miniature books. He published over 40 miniature titles.
His bibles were carried by British soldiers throughout the empire.
