Single volume edition. 8vo. Finely bound in full brown tree calf with raised bands gilt titles and decoration to the spine and decorative gilt borders to covers. Marbled endpapers and gilt inner dentelles. All edges gilt. Illustrated throughout with wood engravings by various artists, including E. Evans. A very good copy with a touch of wear to the head of the spine and contemporary gift inscription to binder's blank.
Thomas Moore was an Irish poet, satirist, composer, and political propagandist, particularly celebrated for his suite of poems entitled Irish Melodies, which are included here.
