First Doris Palmer illustrated edition. Large 4to. Cream cloth with gilt spine lettering and upper cover vignette, titles on the upper cover are in black. Illustrated by Doris Palmer in the Art Deco Style. The title page is illustrated in colour and mounted, the text is set in decorative borders and there are 12 colour plates mounted under captioned tissue guards. The spine is a little dusty and there is a small splash to lower cover.
The whole book has a wonderful feel of the 1920's and the illustrations are bright and striking.
