First UK edition. Publisher's green cloth, with black title labels to upper cover and spine, in the pictorial dustwrapper. A fine copy in a very good dustwrapper, some fading to the spine with a little wear to the spine ends.
Originally published in paper wrappers and issued in a limited edition in Paris in 1953, this is the first trade edition of Watt, and the first that was sold in the UK, where it was distributed by Zwemmer.
